Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1st October 2025
Welcome to Flair Creative Co. These terms explain how we work, what you can expect from us and your responsibilities when booking our services.
1. About us
Flair Creative Co. provides graphic design, branding, website design, stationery design, social media design and social media management services.
The business is operated by Becca Wood, trading as Flair Creative Co.
Email: info@flaircreativeco.com
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Flair Creative Co., and “you” refers to the client.
2. Quotes and bookings
Your written proposal or quotation will set out the services, deliverables, price, payment schedule and any estimated timescales.
Quotes are valid for [30 days] unless stated otherwise.
A booking becomes binding when you accept these terms and the proposal in writing and we confirm your booking. Any required deposit must be paid before work begins.
Any project-specific changes to these terms must be agreed in writing. Simply browsing our website does not create a design services contract.
3. Prices and payments
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling.
A deposit of 50% is required before work begins on orders over £300, orders under £300 must be paid in advance. The remaining balance is payable upon completion.
Printing, stock images, font licences, hosting, domains, subscriptions and other third-party costs are included only where expressly stated.
If a payment becomes overdue, we may pause work after giving written notice and a reasonable opportunity to pay. This may affect your completion date. Final files and website handover may be withheld until the agreed fees have been paid, subject to your statutory rights.
4. Your brief and materials
Please provide a clear brief and supply the content, images, feedback and access needed to complete your project.
You are responsible for ensuring that:
-
Information you provide is accurate.
-
You have permission to use supplied text, photographs, logos and other materials.
-
Someone authorised to make decisions provides consolidated feedback and approval.
-
Account access is shared securely.
We will flag issues we reasonably identify, but legal checks, trade mark searches and verification of advertising claims are not included unless expressly agreed.
5. Concepts and revisions
Your proposal will specify the number of initial concepts and revision rounds included.
A revision round means one consolidated set of feedback on the presented design. Revisions refine the agreed direction; a new concept, changed brief or additional deliverable may require a revised quotation.
We will explain any additional charge and obtain your agreement before carrying out extra work.
Corrections needed because our work does not meet the agreed brief are not treated as chargeable extras.
6. Timescales and communication
We will agree an estimated project schedule before starting. Please tell us about any fixed launch or event date before booking so we can confirm whether we can accommodate it.
Timescales depend on receiving payments, content, feedback and approvals when agreed. If these are delayed, we will explain the effect on your schedule and agree a revised date.
If we cannot reach you for 30 days, we may place the project on hold after written notice. We will discuss availability and any reasonably necessary additional work before restarting. A pause does not automatically forfeit your payments.
7. Approval and final files
Please check proofs carefully, including spelling, contact details, layout, sizes and any other project-specific information.
We require written approval before final production, printing or website launch. Silence does not count as approval.
Changes requested after approval may incur additional charges, which we will agree with you first. Approval does not remove our responsibility for errors we introduce or your statutory rights.
Final files will be supplied in the formats listed in your proposal. Editable source files, working files and unused concepts are included only if expressly agreed.
8. Copyright and usage rights
You retain ownership of materials you supply to us.
Unless agreed otherwise, we retain copyright in our original work and grant you, once full payment is received, a perpetual, worldwide licence to use the approved final designs for the purposes specified in your proposal. For a bespoke logo, this licence is exclusive to you, subject to any disclosed third-party elements.
If copyright ownership is to transfer to you, this must be set out in a separate written assignment signed by us.
Unused concepts, drafts, working methods and pre-existing resources remain ours. We will not resell an approved bespoke logo to another client.
Fonts, stock assets, templates, software and other third-party materials remain subject to their own licences. We will identify relevant restrictions and any licences you need to purchase.
Trade mark registration and clearance are not included unless expressly agreed.
9. Portfolio and publicity
Unless we agree confidentiality or a different arrangement in writing, we may display publicly launched work in our portfolio, on our website and on social media.
Please tell us before booking if your project must remain confidential or cannot be displayed. We will not publish confidential information, private account details or unpublished launch materials without permission.
10. Printing and physical products
Your quotation will explain whether we are supplying printed products or providing artwork for you to arrange printing independently.
Colours can vary between screens, materials and printing processes. Where colour matching is important, please discuss printed proofs or specialist colour specifications before production.
If you arrange your own printing, you are responsible for providing the printer’s specifications and approving their proofs. We remain responsible for preparing artwork to the specifications we have agreed.
Where we supply printed goods, we remain responsible for meeting our contractual and statutory obligations.
11. Website design
Your proposal will specify the website platform, pages, functionality and any included training or support.
Unless included in your quotation, you are responsible for domain renewals, hosting, platform subscriptions, paid apps and ongoing maintenance.
We will test the agreed functionality on the browsers and devices specified in your proposal. Additional integrations or functionality require separate agreement.
We cannot guarantee search rankings, traffic, sales or uninterrupted availability of third-party platforms. This does not limit our responsibility to deliver the services we have agreed with reasonable care and skill.
You are responsible for obtaining suitable legal wording for your business, including privacy notices, cookie information and sales terms, unless specialist advice is expressly included.
12. Social media services
For social media management, we will agree the platforms, content quantities, approval process, service period and fees in writing.
Advertising spend, photography, video production and responding to messages or comments are included only where specified.
You remain responsible for the accuracy of information and claims you approve. We do not guarantee follower growth, engagement or sales.
Any minimum term, renewal arrangement and notice period will be clearly stated before you book.
13. Cancellation and refunds
Please send cancellation requests to info@flaircreativeco.com
Outside any applicable statutory cancellation period, we may charge for work reasonably completed and agreed, unavoidable third-party costs incurred up to cancellation. Any additional cancellation charge must be lawful, reasonable and reflect losses directly caused by the cancellation, taking account of costs saved and reasonable steps to reduce those losses.
We will provide a breakdown, credit payments already received and refund any remaining amount due to you. Deposits are payments towards the project, rather than automatically forfeited fees.
If we cancel for reasons other than your breach, we will refund payments for services not supplied and discuss the handover of any paid-for work. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
If either party seriously breaches the agreement, the other may end it after giving written notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach where it can be remedied.
14. Quality and liability
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with the agreed proposal.
Please contact us if something is wrong so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
For business clients, subject to the paragraph above, our total liability arising from a project is limited to the total fees paid or payable for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
For consumers, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory remedies.
15. Website use
The content on this website belongs to Flair Creative Co. or its licensors. You may browse it and share links, but must not copy, sell or reuse our designs, images or written content without permission or another lawful basis.
You must not misuse the website, introduce malicious software or attempt unauthorised access.
We take reasonable care to keep information accurate, but general website content does not replace a project-specific quotation or agreement.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. Their operators are responsible for their content.
16. Privacy and confidentiality
We will handle personal information as explained in our privacy policy.
Both parties agree to protect confidential information received during the project, except where disclosure is authorised, necessary to perform the agreement using appropriate safeguards, or required by law.
Where we process personal data on your behalf, we will put an appropriate data processing agreement in place where required.
17. Complaints and disputes
Please send complaints to info@flaircreativeco.com, including your project details and a description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge complaints within five working days and provide a substantive response within 14 days, or explain when you can expect one.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Business disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future bookings. The version supplied when your booking is agreed will apply to that project unless we both agree a change in writing.
Before publishing: complete the placeholders, choose your payment and revision policies, and decide whether clients receive a licence or copyright ownership. Commissioning a design does not automatically transfer copyright, so that arrangement needs to be explicit. Also send clients a copy of the agreed terms they can save, and collect any early-start consent separately. GOV.UK
